Latest Update

Dear valued customer

Due to weather related road closures overnight there will be delays with deliveries into Central Otago today (Wed 31 July).

All deliveries to Cromwell, Queenstown, Wanaka, Alexandra, Roxburgh and the surrounding areas will be delayed by approximately 5 hours.

Please advise your customers, and refrain from requesting any ETA’s for these areas before 12pm.

We are expecting further snow conditions across the South Island over the next 24 hours, and we will send further updates if there are any more delays.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these weather related delays.

Kind Regards,

Update 19th July 2019

Dear Valued Customer

Please note the capacity issues with the Interisland ferry services have improved across the last 24 hours.

We have managed to keep a good amount of freight on schedule with minimal delays.

All Interisland freight due for delivery yesterday should be delivered by no later than Friday the 19th of July and all freight for delivery on Friday should be delivered by no later than Saturday the 20th of July. We expect to resume normal services from Monday the 22nd of July.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unexpected delays.

Dear Valued Customer,

Currently we are experiencing significant delays with freight traveling on our Interisland service.

This is due to an incident that occurred at the Strait shipping Picton wharf on Tue 16 July, and the current scheduled drydock for the Interislander Kaitaki ferry. Both Ferry services have advised they have major capacity issues which has created a back log of freight traveling between the North and South Islands.

The impact of this to you at this stage, will be delivery delays of 1 additional day for any freight transiting from the North Island to the South Island and vice versa. This will likely continue through to the end of this week.

We apologize for the inconvenience these unexpected delays may cause, and we recommend you advise your customers accordingly.

We will send a further update on Thursday the 18th of July 2019.
