Latest Update

State Highway 72 is now open allowing passage between Christchurch and the Lower South Island. This means all Monday deliveries for Ashburton, South Canterbury, Otago, Central Otago and Southland will be completed on Tue 10th of December. SH1 at Rangitata will remain closed until further notice.

We expect delivery times will be later than normal, due to the back log of traffic, the detour diversion and heavy freight volumes.

Freight dispatched for Tuesday delivery into these regions will be delivered as normal.

All freight dispatched from Southland, Otago, Central Otago and South Canterbury from Monday the 9th of December will be delivered on normal schedule.

WEST COAST – Please note that SH6 between Franz Josef and Haast will be closed for a significant period of time due to flooding and slips. There will be No deliveries to any towns South of Hokitika through to Haast until further notice. Please advise your customers that they cannot send any freight to these areas until service resumes. Note: Deliveries to Hokitika, Greymouth and Westport are not affected by these road closures.

Thank you for your patience while we work through the back log of freight. We expect to be back on normal schedule by Wednesday the 11th of December. If there are any changes we will advise as soon as possible.

Due to multiple weather related road closures on State Highways south of Christchurch, and on the west coast of the South Island there will be significant delays with deliveries throughout the Lower South Island and West Coast on Monday the 9th of December.

This will effect deliveries to the following regions; Ashburton, South Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, Central Otago, Southland.

Please see below for further details of the Monday delivery freight that will be delayed by at least 1 day to those regions.

  • - Ex North Island on Thu 5th, Fri 6th and Sat 7th of December.
  • - Ex Blenheim / Nelson on Fri 6th and Sat 7th of December.
  • - Ex Christchurch on Sat 7th of December.
  • - Ex all North Island and Blenheim on Thu 5th December to Ashburton (Monday delivery).
  • - Ex all areas on Fri 6th, Sat 7th December to Ashburton (Monday delivery).

We will send a further update on Monday the 9th of December, as more information becomes available. There may be further delays if the roads remain closed on Monday the 9th of December.

Please advise your customers as soon as possible of these unavoidable delays.

  • No Linehaul services operate.

  • No deliveries nationwide.
  • Pre-arranged pick-ups only.

  • No deliveries nationwide.

Fri 3rd January

  • Full delivery and pick-up service in all areas.

Sat 4th January

  • Return to normal services.

To arrange & confirm special pick-ups on Stat Holidays and Weekends through Xmas and New Year, please contact your local Depot Manager at least 1 week in advance of the applicable holiday. Do not assume that pick-ups will happen without being pre-arranged. Contact details below:
