Delays with deliveries due to Hastings Fire

There was a large fire in Hastings last night very near our depot. Whilst our depot is fine, the immediate area was closed off until 4am this morning and none of our Linehaul trucks were able to enter until after that time. As such we had to divert units away.
The only freight affected appears to be those consignments ex Lower North Island and the South Island that would have been delivered today in Gisborne/Wairoa and Napier/Hastings. The trucks with these consignments on will not arrive for a few more hours yet.
The consignments for Napier/Hastings area will be delivered today, but not until late morning/lunchtime. However the freight for Gisborne/Wairoa will now not get delivered until tomorrow morning (Thursday).

- All Linehaul services operate as normal.
Sat 24th December
- All delivery services operate to a normal Saturday service.
- NO linehaul runs across the network.
Sun 25th December
- NO deliveries across network.
- NO linehaul runs across the network.
Mon 26th December
- NO deliveries across network.
- Linehaul ex AKL to PUT, HAS, PMR, WLG one-way.
- Linehaul ex AKL to CHC return.
- Linehaul ex CHC and DUD return.
Tues 27th December
- Deliveries to ALL destinations made (except West Coast SI).
- Linehaul ex AKL to PUT, HAS, PMR, WLG one-way.
- Linehaul ex AKL to CHC return.
- Linehaul ex CHC and DUD return.
Wed 28th December
- All delivery and linehaul services operate as normal.
Thurs 29th December
- All delivery and linehaul services operate as normal.

- All deliveries & pick-ups as normal.

Mon 2nd January
- NO deliveries across network.

Wed 4th January
- All services resume as normal.
- Please ensure ALL freight for delivery on Sat 24th, Tues 27th Dec and Sat 31st Dec, Tues 3rd Jan is physically labelled “Sat Delivery” & “Tues Delivery” and is advised on a separate manifest which also stipulates delivery on the Saturday and Tuesday. This will assist our Operations teams when sorting and manifesting freight.
- DO NOT assume regular pick-ups will happen automatically during the long weekends. Please call your nearest Branch Manager to ask.
