Schedule 2017
Friday 20th October
All pick-ups, deliveries and Line haul as normal across network. However, please note our separate notice in relation to the Hawkes Bay Regional Holiday on 20th Oct.
Saturday 21st October
Normal Saturday pick-up and delivery service applies.
All normal Inter-Island Line haul units run.
Sunday 22nd October
No pick-ups/deliveries or Line haul operate across the network.
Monday 23rd October
No deliveries nationwide, pre-arranged pick-ups only,
Our Line haul network will run the following restricted service:
- 1 x AKL-PUT-HAS-PMR-WGT one-way.
- 1 x WGT-PMR-HAS one way.
- 1 x AKL-CHC return.
- 1 x CHC-DUD return.
- 1 x CHC-BLN (early departure) one way.
- 1 x CHC-CRM return
Tuesday 24th October
Return to normal services
ALL pick-ups must be arranged by phone or email no later than a week before the respective Holiday. DO NOT assume regular pick-ups will happen automatically.

Supermarket deliveries only in Napier and Hastings, No deliveries to Central Hawkes Bay, pre-arranged pickups only. Line Haul services operate as normal.
Full delivery Service to Gisborne

Milton/Lawrence Deliveries

Dear Customer,
Starting Monday the 28th of August, delivery and pick- up services to the following towns will revert to 3 x days per week – Mon/Wed/Fri.
• Milton
• Lawrence
This change is made in view of lower Winter volumes and will be reassessed at the end of October. Both of these towns are serviced ex our Dunedin Hub.
Please note also that:
• Roxburgh will be serviced Mon-Fri ex Cromwell Hub
• Alexandra continues to be serviced Mon-Sat ex Cromwell Hub.

Wairarapa Delivery Service Changes - Update
Dear Customer,
Starting next week, Monday the 7th of August, delivery and pick up services to the following towns will revert to 3 x days per week - Mon/Wed/Fri.
This change is made in view of lower Winter volumes and they will revert to normal services at Labour Weekend.
The following areas are affected by this change:

- Featherston
- Greytown
- Carterton
- Martinborough

Road Closures 22 July 17

Dear Customer
Further to our notice sent out yesterday, the road closures in the South Island due to adverse weather have continued into this morning. This effects all freight traveling South of Christchurch.
There will be no deliveries today into the following regions and surrounding areas;
Ashburton
Timaru
Oamaru
Dunedin
Balclutha
Gore
Invercargill
Deliveries into Christchurch and Central Otago are operating today but will be delayed by 2 – 3 hours.
Please also note, that the Lewis Pass (SH1 alternative route between Picton and Christchurch) has also closed this morning due to a slip. This may effect freight dispatched on Friday from the North Island to the South Island and vice versa for delivery to store on Monday. We will advise customers effected directly.
We appreciate your patience while we clear the back log of freight created by these unexpected road closures. Please advise your customers accordingly.

Big Chill Distribution is a well-established refrigerated freight company with regional branches throughout New Zealand. We specialise in the delivery of chilled or frozen products across NZ.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Pick and Pack Operator for our 3rd Party Distribution Centre based at our Auckland facility in Highbrook.
Key responsibilities:
• Picking and packing of customer orders.
• Checking accuracy of customer orders.
• Counting inventory for cycle counts.
• Ensure food safety and quality assurance processes are adhered to.
Key attributes and experience:
• Knowledge of RF scanning and WMS environments.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg on a frequent basis.
• The ability to identify and communicate process improvements.
• A customer and process focussed outlook and attitude.
• The ability to manage and cope with change in a fast paced environment.
• A passion for best practice and excellence.
An OSH Approved Fork Hoist Certificate would be advantageous but not an absolute requirement for this role.
The right applicant will need to be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
